About
Who is Kalib?
Born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, I have has always had a deep love for art, friends, and good food! From a very young age I have been telling stories; rather it be with toys, playing outside, or with a game controller in hand. My imagination, humor, and kindness know no bounds!
For me the theatre has always been a place filled with magic and joy. The incredible stories that a group of people are able to bring to life is miraculous and would not be possible without the commradority and love between all of those involved, both under the lights and behind the curtains. During my time at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro I have had the privilege to see and be a part of that magic.
When I am not in the theatre or working on something for the theatre, I can be found spending time with my loved ones, traveling and tasting new food, playing video games, collaging, listening to music, and binging Once Upon a Time (for the 100th time). I am a big believer in strong community, exploring the unknown, and making others smile!

Director
Through My Eyes...
I started directed at a young age by playing with games with my siblings and telling them what, when, and how to do everything so the story could be successful. I have since learned that being a true director is a to provide guidance and structure while the ensemble as a whole works to create the world of the play.
As a different way to tell stories, I enjoy being able to take a script, and therefore its world inside, and find a new way to explore it. No two productions of a play are ever the same and I find it very exciting!
